ESSAY PRIZE
The York-Weaving Essay Prize is open to all students in year 12 going into year 13 or equivalent. This competition provides an opportunity to practise your academic argument and essay writing.
The top three essays will receive 1 hour free review and consultation of your personal statement with Dr Anna York-Weaving.
The deadline for entry is 18:00 BST on Sunday 15th September 2024
Essay Question - "Beethoven's 9th symphony shatters the conventions and boundaries of classicism and should be considered the first Romantic symphony" To what extent do you agree with this statement
Essays should be no longer than 1,500 words.
