The York-Weaving Essay Prizes are open to all students in year 12 going into year 13 or equivalent. This competition provides an opportunity to practise your academic argument and essay writing in a range of subjects.

The top 3 essays in each subject will each receive a free review and consultation of your personal statement with Dr Anna York-Weaving.

The deadline for entry is 18:00 BST on Sunday 14th September 2025​​

All essays should be the student's own work. Any essays written by AI will not be considered.
